Sparky1 LLC wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who navigate by keyboard, use a screen reader, or rely on magnification or high-contrast display settings.

Standard we aim for

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We consider this site to be substantially conformant. "Substantially" is deliberate: we test as we build rather than certify, and we would rather hear about a problem than claim there are none.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML headings, landmarks and lists, so structure is announced correctly.
  • Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
  • Text and background colours are checked against the 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text.
  • Text resizes and reflows to 200% without loss of content or function.
  • Decorative images carry empty alternative text; meaningful images carry descriptions.
  • No content flashes, blinks, or auto-plays.
  • The page language is declared, and the site works without JavaScript for reading content.

Known limitations

The site loads a web font from a third-party service. If that service is unreachable, text falls back to your system font, which we consider acceptable rather than ideal. Email addresses are assembled by JavaScript to reduce spam harvesting; with JavaScript disabled they display in a readable "user [at] domain" form instead of a clickable link.

Our applications

Accessibility of our iPhone applications is handled separately and described on each product's own site. Where an application has an inherent accessibility limit — for example, a feature that depends on seeing a light or hearing a tone — we state that plainly rather than omit it.

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Describe the page and what went wrong, and include the assistive technology and browser you were using if you know them. We aim to respond within five business days, and to offer the information you were seeking in another format in the meantime.
